Default thoughts on my gear

this is the gear i ride with all the time. i just wanted to have some input from some others that have been riding for some time. i have just bought my bike in sept(600rr) and havent been riding for a long time.

alpinestar vennom leather jacket and textile gloves
shift textile jacket for those really warm days
icon riding pants
afx and hjc helmets(im getting a shoei next month)
and i ordered alpinestar stunt shoes

That's great gear, do the pants have kneepads in them? I've never seen that before. That's awesome.

they have some padding, its like thicker material, and thanks for the thought.
i figured i would spend the money on the gear instead of skin graphs. lol.

Sounds like you have most of the bases covered. I'd get something alittle better for your feet though. The alpinestar shoes are nice, but they are just basically tennis shoes. Look into the Icon super duty boots for a good casual riding boot with good protection.

Plus the boots are bad *** kinda look like Timberland, a bit...

for the casual jackets I recommend you were a mesh undercoat that will fit the extensive padding and not many people have them but I have back brace shell or spine protector ...whatever they call em is a good idea because most of the time you slide on your back. I know you don't want to drop your bike, in case you do you want to be able to get up and try again.

Whats up,


Your gears alot better than the party hats, wife beaters, and shorts that these squids wear out my way. I would recommend better gloves gauntlet style and and a riding boot but thats just me a mary. 95 degrees out and I still have my leather jacket, full face, jeans, gloves, and boots. Basicaly your straight.
