I have a buddy who is about 6'4 and average build andhe is loking for a jacket. He says when he goes up in size to achieve comfort the mid section on the jacket gets bigger and not enough length is the sleeves. Any recomendations????????????????

 

try JR...jackets from alpinestars, spidi, teknic, etc. all have short arms for some reason.
on a side note, if you look at your riding position, you're crouched, with elbows bent. as long as you still have coverage you're be ok.
also, jackets should be worn with gloves that cover up over the forearms, not the raggedy terminator cut off at the wrist types. this will also give him some added length.

 

I have the same problem, 6'3" but only chest size 44... A* 48's fit me length-wise, but wayyyy too big in the midsection. go to www.newenough.com, they offer a section on tall sizes. I got a Joe Rocket sonic 2 in Large/tall, but I was also looking at a firstgear hammer in 44/tall. Either one would probably fit your friend.
