Default Spidi Suits?

Anybody have any experience with Spidi suits? I'm basically trading in my JR Speedmaster suit(approx selling value $500), my A* RC-1 jacket($400), my A* track pants($200), and my Sidi Strada boots($100) for the new Spidi R-Course Wind Pro Suit with the Warrior back protector. At first, it was completely out of my budget, but then I figured I could get rid of the gear I currently have to get that suit. I wanted a solid suit with the best armor. I need something that fits me perfectly and something I could depend on. Worth it?

Default RE: Spidi Suits?

That does look nice. And I love Spidi gear--though I haven't sprung for a full suit yet, I have an '06 NRG jacket that I love. The only thing is, I must not eat enough pasta, because it's too roomy through the middle. If there were such a thing as a leather tailor in Utah, I would have her take it in a good three inches...but the quality and fit everywhere else is superb. It's a size 52 and I'm 5' 11" 160ish. Arm length is perfect, so is shoulder and chest--it's just loose around my six-pack of bricks...

If I were buying a Spidi suit, however, I'd probably get a size 50, since any shortness of the suit's legs will be hidden by the boots. No one seems too interested in reviewing what size gear fits them, but when you get it, you should post up your size and how it relates to Spidi's sizing charts:
