Spare Faceshield
This is a "Noob" question, but does anyone carry a spare faceshield with them and if so how?? I recently bought a -Dark- face shield and I love it during the day, however I'm worried about being caught out after dark with this thing on. BTW, both shields are curved and do not lie flat. Thanks
It's not the safest thing, but I wear a smoke shield morning, noon and night...I haven't had problems with visibility (although it is noticeably less) and if it does get too dark I use my high beams or lift it up and catch bugs in my face...I found it to be too much of a hassle to carry an extra or have to switch them; although, a few people with RR's actually fit an extra in the trunk with some padding to protect it.
I have a clear visor and wear sunglasses underneath so at night I take them off. I plan on getting an amber one, it'll brighten things up at night. Oh btw it's good to hear a different question every once in a while instead of the same old crap.
I've seen before where people have said somewhere sells and over the shoulder extra visor carrier(the visor kind of wraps around your side by your ribs) and you just wear your jacket over it. Anyone ever seen this product for sale anywhere?
