Default Scorpion EXO 1000 helmet

I bought the Scorpion exo 1000 helmet this weekend and I gotta say its the best 300.00 I spent on a helmet. Ive had SHOEIs HJCs ICONs and a previous model scorpion EXO 400. Its quiet, the inflatable cheek pads give a snug feel, and no more shield swaps because its got the built in flip down sun shield. at highway speeds buffeting is minimal, and the air vents actually really work... I can barely hear my motor anymore, which is cool but kind of scary being that my exhaust is pretty loud so paying attn to how much noise im making is a little tricky but anyway....Anyone looking into buying a new helmet on a budget and wants to get thebest bang for your buck check this one out....

The only thing I don't like about it is how much heavier it is. I really don't care much about the air pads, but I love the flip-down visor!

edit: I currently own an EXO-400 and an EXO-700 and I love them both!

The EXO1000 is an overpriced POS.

You should have spent another $100 and got an Arai.

The vents DON'T work. I can't even feel any air on my head unless I don't install the visor right.

Also, they're LOUD considering no air flows through them.

Not to mention it's heavier than 80% of the helmets out there, poorly made (I've had to use glue on it twice), with stupid features that just add price to what is apparently a great helmet (the 700).

I know this because I own one (and paid $370 for it...).
