Personally, only you will really care about color matching. I would just find a jacket you like and a helmet you like and wear them together and not worry too much about color matching.

I have an all black bike and have 5 jackets and 4 helmets. Jackets are leather red/silver/white, blue/silver/white (2), silver/white/black and an all black textile. Helmets are: blue/silver/black, red/silver/black, silver/black and an all black.

I usually, just rotate all my jackets/helmet combos and try not to use the same jacket and helmet twice in a row. A lot of the time, I am riding, I have mismatched color jacket/helmet combos, and sometimes I ride with them matched.

It really will only matter to you what colors you are wearing.

First you need to decide what you would rather wear, a leather or a textile/codura style jacket. I am a big fan of leather. I have 2 perforated leathers, 2 non-perforated leathers and the one textile.

What is your budget like?

Do you like any particular brand?

If you don't care about the price, then the best thing to do is go to a local motorcycle shop and order a color matching jacket and helmet combo from the catalog.

Here is something I found by google'ing the colors:

For the jacket:

The color matching thing will pass.

Now, you're obligated to show us a pic of your bike/gear combo.

Check out www.spartanleathers.com, Dave can hook you up with a custom colored jacket for a great price. Plus his gear holds up well in crashes, I've tested his suits four times this year on the track.

Color matching is easy if you stick with all black.
