I have one and I like it.Haven't gone down yet (and don't plan to).Fit is really good, suggest you buy a size that is a little tight as it will break in.On the plus side,if you don't like it return it.I get great customer service from my local Cycle Gear.

I have been wanting one as well... Haven't pulled the trigger yet, really need to as they are running out of sizes quick. The local store doesn't have my size, but I went and looked them over and they seem to look pretty well made for the price.

Been riding with a FT jacket for a couple years now. It has held up really well for the daily abuse I throw at it. From riding at freezing temps to 120 degrees in the shade. Only went down at a slow speed in it. I managed to hit my shoulder where the armor wasn't, otherwise I would have been better off. I don't blame my jacket. Just the position I put myself in trying to cushion the girl that was on the back of my bike. =(

I got the jacket on the large size for me. That way in the winter I can fit warm layers under it.

I would buy Frank Thomas gear again. It has held up better than my old two piece Dainese setup. The leather on the FT is good quality. Heavy weight, but has gotten nice and soft with conditioning.
