Just for that reason i will be buying a scorpion exo 400 brand new from the reviews and feedback i got its a great helmut. SNell and Dot approved with better venting then HJC. thanks for all the help

Ok so im still looking for a helmet..lmao it seems like everyone is a expert on helmets. i have narrowed my choices to these 3.

I know from reviews these are all good helmets and are priced around the same 149 on closeout. the scorpion and suomy are fiberglass/kevlar and the bell is composite. i couldnt find a reveiw on this suomy but the bell was rated excelent except for noise which doesnt bother me since my current helmet is noise..lol

 

I don't think it's that anyone thinks they are an expert on helmets, but you did ask for our opinions... in fact the title of your post is "need help picking new helmet" - you must have expected to get some advice... no?

 

Well late last night @ about 12am i ordered a Suomy Ventura Helmet from dennis kirk. its an up grade from my 50 dollar Thh helmet from leather up so im pretty happy. now i just have to wait for the ups man in about 4 days..lol

 

I've got an exo-700. I like it, its comfortable and not too heavy.
