well yesterday i went to the dealer and picked up all my gear. sonic 2.0 jacket, blaster 2.0 pants, shoei TZ-R black metallic, s-mx3boot black(alpinestar), and some phoenix gloves(the ones with the carbon fiber knuckles. pretty much out the door was 1000 dollars. if u have any of this gear plz tell me what u think..i would also like to know if anyone has taken a spill on this equipment and how it has held up?

got any pix? as far as safety goes, all of them have to pass a certain standard, so i dont think any of them will be bad. its really a matter of preferance and how much you are willing to spend.

sry about thegay links. now for all of that i paid 1000 out the door at the dealer i got my bike. im happy.

 

All that gear sucks man. Sell it on ebay fast for cheap...jk anyway that seems like good stuff with a nice little discount. Looks like you got about 20 to 25 percent off. Thats pretty good. Almost every dealer will give you a little bit off if you ask. Since you bought the bike from there they were a little more generous. Make sure you leather fits snug on you though because when it breaks in it gives about a size or half size.

Question: How do you like the boots? Are they comfortable? I have the SIDI vertigo corsa air's. I just bought them and have not ridden in them yet. I was thinking about taking them back because they are a little over the top. I had been looking at the Astars in their website but I have yet to find a dealer here who carries them.

 

well i tolfd the bike for a quick ride today just to see if they are good. and they are comfortable and i like them. umm at first they looked like over kill but now that i took it for a ride i like them. and when i have my pants and shoes on, and my ankle was prestty exposed so i said. meh i'll get them and learn to like it. cause i am going to the track in a few months and they require boots so i figured mind as well just get nice ones and be safe and smart. it did take me a few mins to gewt the feel with them on with shifting and whatnot. cause i can tell they need to be broke in a lil to be really good riding boots..just a lil stiff out the box. but thats like any of the boots. so over all i like it. not used to pying that muchg for boots, not even snowboard boots. but i kinda wish my pants went over them, but they dont so o'well i got nice boots
