Default Most comfortable leather suit?

I have a new teknic violator suit that doesn't fit so well. The arms are very tight and it's uncomfortable to stand straight up in, I know they aren't designed to stand straight up in, but I don't like to be hunched over chatting to others while waiting for my next turn on the track.

I have tried on a Speed and strength twist of fate suit that was rather comfortable and leaning towards picking one up, unless anyone else has insight on another comfortable suit...

Also the sizes I've worn were 46. I'm 165lbs 5'9" but am rather wide and big in the shoulders and arms.

If it's a one piece just unzip it down to your waste, that's what I do between sessions.

Also just keep wearing it, the leather will form to your body.

It's so tight that you can actually see my muscle definition. I think that's too tight. And it's really hard to walk around with it unzipped like that, lol

lol, yeah that is a little tight. If you take a shower at some point, hang it in there, the steam will soften the leather a bit, then wear it. Can get it a little bit better, occasionally riding in showers as well.

+1 Most gear needs to be broken in pretty well, especially leather. Wear it as much as possible and it should break in. Seems to me that you usually want leather gear to be a little on the tight end when you get it so it doesn't become loose as it breaks in, but breaks in to fit just right.

I need a suit to be a bit loose because I'm bulking up. So a suit that fits a little bigger in the arms and shoulders is what I'm looking for.

An off the shelf one-piece suit may not fill your requirements. You may have to go the two-piece route to satisfy your needs. That way, you can get a larger jacket to accomodate your size requirements. Sounds like you're doing trackdays... Most trackday orgs that I know of, allow two-piece suits. Just a suggestion.

However, if you're set on a one-piece suit & find that no off the shelf suit available will work for you, you may have to have your suit tailored. You can alter an off the shelf suit or you can have one specifically made for you.

Good luck.
