Default KBC... Good? Bad? Otherwise?

I have been looking into helmets over the past few weeks. I found a few, until my mom found a KBC. She told me to try it on and it fits as well as the Arai and the Shoei I had been looking at. I liked the way it felt and the weight. How do they size up to everything else people wear? It was so much less, but felt so close to the others. I like the Airborne, so I may end up getting that if most people seem to think it is a good decision.
Thanks in advance...

it's an ok helmet. Good beginner and whatever helmet cause it's cheap and won't hurt your wallet too much when you bang it up. The first time I scrached my Arai I almost cried. But the main thing is comfort, if your comfortable with it then why not especially if it fits your budge.

+1, get whatever makes you feel comfortable when you're riding, cuz your the ones that gonna have to wear it. Just make sure it's DOT and all that other safety stuff approved. Personally I'm sticking with Arai, best helmets out there. But to each his own.

I know the feeling ****, I busted my shield holder about a month back and was cursing. Good thing Arai is true to their warranty and customer service, sent me a replacement part free of charge within a week. Another reason Arai's kick ***.

I have a KBC force RR and love it, especially for the price tag.

KBC/HJC etc are all ok helmets. Fit and finish comes nowhere close to Arai, Shoei, AGV, etc.

Most people miss one huge point..... DOT and SNELL ratings means the given helmet only MEETS certain criteria, it doesn't say anything about the extent they EXCEED that standard. So while both kbc and arai meets the same standard, arai still will be a way safer helmet since they exceed those standards (transfers less G's to ur noggin) way more then kbc.
