Default Icon Timax2

Stopped by Del Amo Motorsports today and picked up a new spring/summer jacket to replace my AGV Sport mesh jacket of two years. Great jacket, but needed more protection. Looked around and even though there were some great leather jackets around, it's been a tad warm here in sunny Cali and I need something that won't make me pass out in the heat, but offer a comparable amount of protection that leather provides. That, and the ladies' selection didn't look so hot...too many bright girlie colors/designs I like my gear as low-key as possible. Enter the Icon Timax2. Tried on a small and almost choked myself , so slipped into a medium and it fit just right. The inner liner will provide warmth during those nippy night rides, and I can ditch it for those hot summer days and still be protected. Nice. I'll have to snap some pics of me wearing it at bike night tomorrow

Anyway, here are the specs and a pic. Comes in five colors (black, white, blue, red, and yellow)

Icon Timax2 Mesh Jacket

• A lighter, summer-weight version of Icon's TiMax 2 jacket, featuring a Fighter Mesh chassis
• Genuine titanium armor plating and titanium reinforced textile panels provide hard-core protection
• Elbows feature CE-approved armor
• Made to fit without binding with a reverse action back
• Zippered intake vents on chest and mesh back panel for additional cooling power
• Comfortable ribbed spandex in flex zones
• Removable insulated vest

I need a new mesh jacket too. How much did you pay? Do you still like it? I've read it flows less
air compared to the Alpinestars T-venom, but has more protection on the back. Any opinions
from anyone else that has used either would be great..thanks.
