Icon has some really nice jacket designs, there are a few I have my eye on but one thing I've noticed is the number of suzuki-only jackets Icon produces...why? For example, the Icon Automag is a really cool jacket but besides the Hero version they offer akrapovic, ohlins, suzuki, and dunlop. Why 'zuki, do they have a gsxr contract or something?


Otherwise a really awesome jacket...if you ride a suzuki.

It has to be some kind of contract thing right? Joe Rocket Honda jackets imo look like you work for Honda but a little honda wing on the breast pocket or the shoulder would look good I think. W/e, I noticed someone in another thread saying Icon gets bagged on for being the main gear of stunters and squids but also noticed the common jive regarding Gixxerz as the only bikes known to exist in squidland so that can't be helping Icon to get rid of this stigma and be taken a little more seriously.

I dig the racing replica types with a few patches, dunno why but I've always really liked the look of race type livery on bikes and gear...a honda equiv of the above jackets would looks 10x better than any 'zuki jackets imo.

 

Probably because more people that will buy Icon ride Suzuki than Honda, by a big margin.

Joe Rocket sponsors Honda Riders on those same venues. Same as above between Honda and JR 'rocket also sells Goldwing, and VFR gear.

 

^ exactly.....if they sponsor a company then of course they are going to sell products with there name on it. Icon has some great gear, and most the time you can get the same gear that says suzuki on it, with just a generic #, or withoutthe suzuki logos.

That first jacket is sweet...if I rode a Suzuki I would want that. JR makes some sweet gear for hondas too. for example, look at whitedealershiprice avatar
