Good gloves - need advice

I have alpinestars SP-1 gloves and love them to death. They're extremely comfortable and don't restrict hand movement much despite the amount of armor and padding. They're right at the limit of your price range but for a full gauntlet glove I don't think that's too bad. I've put about 3k miles on them, didn't get to do too much riding last summer, and they're holding up great. They keep my hands nice and cool in the summer as well despite being more of a race glove for the street.

Whatever you buy DO NOT by Frank Thomas... they look great but the ends of the fingers are coming apart... I mean, that's within 500 miles... how they gonna hold up in an accident ffs.
