Just bought Icon Motorheads yesterday. Once I get used to the similarity to ski boots, I think I will be satisfied. The do breath very well and fit very similar to race boots. They also have alot of the same features. Just got to get used to the look. As a not, I tried other boots, motorcycle and just plain boots, and found that most are too bulky on the pegs for my taste. I will let you know how the Motorheads work out.....

buscuit,

Here are some pics. They are the Super duty "2" series. As you can see they have slits on the toe for the clutch action and the heavy duty strap to lock everything tight.

Craigart14,

Im sorry to tell you this. But motorcross boots will not do it. Sure they can protect ya, put as far as deep contact in a wreck/crash/spill etc - they will be torn to pieces along with your footsies. especially seeing that most boots of the motorcross nature contain about 40-50% plastic @ the outsides. that wouldn't do you too good.

Best of luck to you guys. If you stick with the Icons their website "rideicon.com" had a dealer locater. just use that to find a pair.

Good luck.

both acutally lol.

I am 21 years old (as of may 1st 2006) Im living at home till i get financially stable for this apartment im looking at. I just got out of a job which i was at for a year and a half. I couldnt keep driving to Ontario, CA every day (which is about an hour)

And yes, Im an electronics geek. I bought the 360 and even went out the next day and bought a 27" HDTV because i didnt like the "look" on my regular 30" projection lol.

Best of luck to ya on the boots. Glad you like the pics
