Default Anyone know anything about the UCLEAR headsets

I ride with a bunch of buddies and we have been looking for a way to talk to each other while we ride. So I've spent some time looking online for a good 2-way headset. Almost everything out there has that stupid Boom Mic that looks like its stuck in the 90's. And I really didn't want a boom mic sticking in my face while riding down the street. NOT COOL right?
Until I came across information on the UCLEAR HBC200. This thing looks amazing. Its suppose to drop this spring and allow up to 5 devices to sync to it. And it has NO BOOM MIC! It says it picks up your voice with lasers and gets rid of ALL wind noise up to 80MPH. Sounds almost to good to be true!
Has anyone heard anything about the Uclear or know of anyone thats used them? I want to know for sure it works before we all go and spend $250 each on them.

UClear HBC200 - webBikeWorld

been in the military awhile, I've used my fair share of radios and comm. never heard of half the **** they are talking about that they say they got from their military background. And unless MSA, Sordin or Harris owns UCLEAR, than Ive never heard of them either (in a military stand point). But hey, if they work, they work.

Another note, "Military Spec?" there ain't nothing durable about mil-spec if you wish to challenge that than show me a pair of BDU's or any variant of that is being actively used that does not have a tare in the crotch. . . .

I rest my case.

web bike world tends to be pretty reliable. So I guess if you do end up getting them make sure the place you bought them from has a good return policy.
