Default Two'87's

Well the weather finally cleared up so I could get a couple of photos of the twins!

Having got them out into the daylight I found I have loads to do to either of them. The plan is to get one on the road quickish (?) and do a thorough rebuild of t'other.

John

Nice Klekid, very nice.

I now have a soft spot for the 87 after riding Kiwi TK's for about 1500 km in NZ - and especially in that colour.

Keep us up to date with the rebuild/refurbishment of them both.

Cheers, SB

They're the exact twins of my old girl aren't they?. Nice to see, I hope you can manage to make one neat one out of the pair.

Hi Kiwi TK

It looks as though they are the same as yours. I was just going to rebuild one of the two and flog the spares. But after considerable thought I believe I can rebuild one up to stock and then I'll e able to get the other on the road as a hack bike?

All depends what I find when they are stripped down?

All spare bits gratefully accepted, but I think your plan is good.

A nice one for high days in the summer, a "not so nice one" for when there is salt on the roads.

Keep us in the loop.

Wheelnut you are way ahead of me already on your rebuild. I only get to mine at weekends and that's only if she who must be obeyed has a short job's list!

Happy to answer anything I can though!

im the same as you john, i only get to the shed once or maybe twice a week(4 hours tops),if the mrs and daughter are sorted, if it was up to me it i would be
out there every night but there you go,at least if we run in to problems there are plenty of people to ask (thanks DragonCBR and everyone else).
keep us posted on progress though
