Default Scotts Stainless Steel Oil Filter

Does anyone use this? Is it easily installed, I dont see any grips to tighten the filter on or off? What are your thoughts?

I've got one on my 1k, and like it alot! its made just like the ones on the aircraft i work on. the filter will come with a special socket that fits a 3/8 ratchet, and pretty good instructions.

How do you clean these filters? Do they really filter as good as normal filters?

they filter out smaller particals than stock filters, and have a magnet inside to catch really important bits like bearings and such. to clean just use some gas or alcohol and dry very well, compressed air is best.

Would you recommend against using a magnetic drain bolt along with this?
Do you think the value is worth the cost?

getting all the extra abrasive crap outta the oil can't be a bad thing can it? also you can see more of whats in the oil, hopefully nothing.
