Puig Standard Screen - Dark smoke
-Why you decided to purchase the product -
Didn't really like the look of the Fairing Factory screen, it was too big for me. After reading around trying to decide between Puig and ZG, I decided on Puig. I did not want to do the DB since I really don't know if I like the look of it or not.
-Where you bought it from -
303 Cycle
-Price -
$70 Shipped
-Did the product meet your expectations? How/Why?
The product did meet my expectations. The screen is decent thickness, the holes were big and fit the gromets easily. You can see through it a bit and I know that it is a quality product if anything happens because of the Puig name.
-Would you recommend the product to others?
This is already a hit on the forums, but I would recommend it to anyone. It definitely adds some nice flair to the bike and makes it look much sharper.
-Would you buy it again?
Definitely would buy again, it looks great and seems like total quality. It is more expensive than the ebay screen I got, but I would still spend that money to get a Puig again.
Now on to the pics. Once again, I apologize for crappy camera and quality.
In the package, the instructions are on the back:
The screen has a film over it to protect it when you first get it. The rubber(at least I think it is sometime of rubber) tube on the top right is to put on the edge of the screen for protection. I noticed that the Fairing Factory had its plastic rounded already:
Here is the rubber tube on:
Comparisons with the Fairing Factory windscreen, unfortunately, I don't have my stock screen with me to compare it to:
On the bike, far and near:
I can't really tell if there is a gap between the 3rd eye, but I am blind so sorry i can't help in that aspect.
What the fairing factory looked like:
