I ride in a sport-touring club; there are a lot of 'blades and most use the Powers.

Me? I'm a fan of D208RRs.

That said, I ride with the Pilot Roads that came with the 954 I just bought and frankly, short of lunatic behavior, they'll match the grip of the Powers and beat the mileage by, well, a mile.

I know: I rode a lot with both on my last ride.

The margins btwn bikes and tyres are negligible; the key diff is the nut above the triple crown ;-}

Well my riding season has pretty well ended due to SNOW! (WTF) Anyway, an update on my PP's I have over 13000kms on my rear tire! That includes a few long *** highway trips and practicing wheelies (alot)....My front is still in excellent shape so next year I am going with the PP's again!
Anyone else getting this type of milage?

I have 8,000+ miles on my rear PP. The front still has over 1/8 inch of tread left. Unfortunately the rear is shot now. Utterly and completely shot. Took a trip to Eau Claire before Halloween (135 miles) and noticed huge belt patches during my post-ride look over. Rode home on it (another 135 miles) after lowering the pressure 3 psi, sitting forward as far as possible, covering the clutch and front brake, and stopping 3 times to make sure they stayed cool. First ride i haven't passed anyone, I stayed 5 mph under every speed limit I came across.

The gist of my story, even when worn ragged pilot powers get the job done!

They have exceptional grip, and for the money, they are the best street tire available.

Got a mate whose rear started showing canvas on a ride back home so he wrapped it with duct tape and repeated that til he got home.

Got two mates who've found the Q's wear far more rapidly than the Powers FWIW

Where's the best/cheapest place online to buy a set of these for a F4i?? Best price I found so far is $230 for the set.
