Some of you may have read my recent post in the 600rr section , As i was in a accident recently when someone decided to pull out infront of me.And as the bike flipped over my foot got caught in the gear shift.


Sometimes i ride with sneakers, but that day i decided to wear my chukka's.
While at the hospital the dr. add'd that if i wasnt wearing those boots the whole top of my foot wld have been shatterd.

I walked away with a severe 4 to 6 month sprain instead.

I'd like to thank ICON, and highly recomend this boot, as it has alot of reinforcement and they look cool too..

Needless to say after this experience, I WILL NOT RIDE WITHOUT BOOTS, OR GEAR EVER AGAIN. I didnt have my alpine leather on that day, and was lucky i did not hit pavement, i landed on my feet (somehow ) evil knievel style! lol ..I can laugh about it now because i am ok. When i get the bike back on the road its Helmet, boots, and jacket at minimal.

I'm just thankful i get a second chance, as alot of people arnt that fortunate.

Ride safe and wear your gear, you never know whats around that next bend
