Thumbs up Cheap RR Seat Cowl from hithotclub (ebay)

I've been gathering parts for an RR tail swap on my 89 F1. Since shipping to Canada is often as much as the item itself, I decided to try the 03-04 CBR600RR seat cowl from the hithotclub ebay store since their shipping was free (all the way from Hong Kong!)

The quality is better than I expected; the construction seems very sturdy and the fit is pretty good on my equally cheap aftermarket RR tail fairing. The finish isn't perfect, and they don't claim to replicate stock colours, but since I'm going to be painting it anyway that's okay. Free shipping from Hong Kong is about as slow as you'd expect it to be, but the seller answered all questions promptly and in decent English.

For a project piece I think I got good value for my $49.95.

I ordered at the start of a 4-day national holiday or some other business-disrupting thingy, and it ended up taking about a month.

For an experienced fibreglasser, maybe. For me, I doubt it. This thing, fifty bucks plus 2 minutes scuffing it up and it's ready for paint. How many hours to get something of equal quality doing it from scratch, with the latch mechanism, pad and equally rigid structure?
