Default Memorial Day Weekend

While you're all out riding around, BBQing and relaxing...
Don't forget WHY you have the opportunity to do so.

Remember the fallen and the sacrifices given, to make it so.

I understand that it's an American date, but most, if not all,
of the rest of our members have folks who've done the same for their
country and citizens.

I don't always agree with the politics/reasons that put our military in harm's way.
But I honor all of those who choose to stand in the breach.
Never forget, least the sacrifices be in vain.

Ern

All too true Ern.
We have a great number of Members or family of Members serving "in harm's way" as I write this.
May they all be kept safe to return to their loved ones.......

And let's remember all those who didn't make it home and gave all they had for all of us.

WOW, that's is very nice.
too bad our remembrance day is in Nov. would be amazing to do something like this for our troops.
as a serving member with two tours to the sand box, i always appropriate it when people get together to do something like this for our fallen members.
it is never easy to loose a fellow solder no matter how they passed away.
thank you

I went there in the morning and wrote remembrance for 3 of my friends's family and my family. And put that on one panel of the lantern. If I went on the line and waited, I could have gotten one lantern to write my own things and let it go like you see some people are doing in the video. The blond lady in the video lost her military boyfriend or husband. There was another lady who lost her 6 years old daughter. That is sad
