Default Honda Cbr125e fuel tap?

Hello,
Look I'm new to riding just got my P plates, I'm not going to pretend I know everything hence why I'm here.

Yesterday I found out about fuel taps and was wondering on the Honda cbr12e does the fuel tap have to be put into a certain position after each ride? If so what way? Or should I never even bother?

I never got a Manuel or any instructions it was a second hand bike and no one around me rides so I'm on my own and clueless just trying to understand the basics.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Don't sweat it, we all started someplace. As for the fuel Petcock, in general turning it to the Off position after a ride was the general recommendation. In the past it was possible, if you parked in an unusual angle, or had a stuck float in the carburetor, you could flood your engine, or worse cause a hydro lock (cylinder filled with fuel). Now days it probably doesn't matter how you leave it. If your bike doesn't have a fuel gauge, I'd leave it in the On position so that i'd have reserve if I needed it.
