Default your rear sets

The vortex rear sets. I cannot seem to be able to find a rear set listed for a cbr400rr on the vortex site - are yours intended for a different bike yet fitted? are they modified?

Just bought a CBR400RR 1996, undertaking a restoration/upgrade project. Also did the koso unit require much work to fit?

Any suggestions appreciated.
Mike

my vortex rearsets are not intended for NC29, ive made some little adjustment to make make them comfortably work. i think these are R6 rearsets, just don't know what year model. i just ordered it to my friend in an online parts business. i gave him the dimentions and pick the most possible rearsets that would fit on a NC29.

BTW, using these rearsets the gear shifting is reverse. you will do 1 up - 5 down, just like in MotoGP bikes.

the koso is not that difficult to fit, the only problem i encountered if changed the speed sensor twice. probably its the wiring system of my bike is grounded. Thats why im changing my wiring loom to HRC.

hahaha! its not for sale mate, probably if someone would offer me a reasonable price i still would not sell it.

anyway, here's more to what i added to my endless project bike...

Samco Silicone Hose Kit
Ignitech Programmable CDI
Stainless Steel Headers
MRD Quick Release Cap
Koso Voltmeter
Koso Air/Fuel Mixture Meter
Fresh Wiring Harness
New Piston Rings
New Head Gasket

im planning something else on my project like an "electronic" key for the compartment, still thinking how its going to be done.

Hi!
I am Hemank from India. I am restoring my own CBR 400 RR NC 29 (1996).
I need a BRAND NEW Wiring harness and a crank case LH cover for the bike. Please could you give me information on where you got your wiring harness from. My wiring harness is ruined completely and this is very important for me.
Thanks a lot in advance,

Hemank D
