I've had several bikes throughout my life. V-twins, offroad, endure, MX, regular street bikes, etc..
But my all time favorite is the bike that started it all for me; an MTD mini bike. It had a monstrous 3.5hpTecumseh pull start powerplant. I lived out in the middle of nowhere and that tiny beast took me through the woods and pastures without ever failing me. I was convinced I was going to be the next Evel Knievel.
Hmmmm, so many bikes over the years. To me, it's the situation/setting in which the bike is ridden that translates to 'best'. My mile muncher Kawasaki GTR1000 and the places it has taken me all over Australia. Then there's the 1974 Ural outfit I owned while living/working in Vietnam in 2014. The sheer beauty of the countryside made every ride magical. Then there's the Suzuki TL1000S that caused my undies to be stained pretty well every time I rode it in anger!
The GTR1000 loaded for bear on a trip to Tasmania with a former 'friend'
The Ural in a rural Vietnamese setting.....
My son in full race leathers when he was about 12 or 13 waiting for the off on the TL1000S
And the worst bike? I've yet to have one
