RE: Worst bike you have rode
I look back at my motorcycle riding history, and I've not had a bike I really hated. I mean... maybe it's because all the bikes I've had out on the road have been been mostly new, or Honda's. I would say I wasn't a huge fan of my buddies Katana... but it wasn't horrible as long as he had it (before he totaled it in his neighborhood... which was hillarious). It was pretty heavy, but it wasn't overly uncomfortable to ride on. I know my dad really wanted a HD sportster for a long time... then when he was out looking at bikes with another family member, he found a used one that they let him testdrive. After that, he wasn't impressed with them at all. (he'd gotten magazines and pamplets and all kinds of things, really gearing up to get one) That one 10 minute ride changed his whole view and he went with a Kawasaki Meanstreak. I'm not anti-HD, but you gotta be dedicated to lay on that kinda cash.

RE: Worst bike you have rode
it would be a tie between my old 84 interceptor 250, and my f3 streetfighter when i 1st got it put together. my f3 has some decent motorwork to it. i wanted it to wheelie easy so went against my dads advice (as most of us do) and bought a -2 tooth front sprocket.it was tuned really rich bya race shop. tuned for full throttle most of the time. but it was running around 109 hp at the rear. riding it in traffic started to carb up the plugs so you had to stop at the light and rev the **** out of it until it cleared. but if you were riding slow and it started to bog you needed to find an open lane and wack the throttle open. i found out the hard way that the -2 sprocket was a mistake. i pulled around a car to open it up and clear the motor. i wacked the throttle and it bogged a bit and then slowly it cleared and then WHAM the motor instantly came alive, in 1st gear the front end skyrocketed, i ahd to quickly shift to 2nd but it didnt do much help as the front kept coming up, 3rd, 4th, and then 5th with the front in the air, until i ran out of revs. the front end slammed down hard when i hit the limiter. then i shifted to 6th. i tried to ride the bike home with out doing this again but it did it 3 more times unpredictably before i could get a slight handle on it. i took the bike to another shop and had it re-tuned, making just slightly under 108 hp but waaaaaay more ridable. that bike scared me as bad as my 1st experience with a kawasaki h2 750 triple 2 stroke. the 2 stroke was more predictable.
