Default Not a CBR...but something ELSE caught my eye...

I've been looking at an F4 lately, and too many things seem to be wrong with it, so i've been broading my range of bikes. I came across one that instantly hit me, saw it and wanted it...BAD...what is it you ask? Its a 1988 Hawk GT. I love the way it is styled and just...idk, something about it is calling to me. Anybody have any experience with one of these things?

Certainly a cool looking bike. Modern looking little twin, but the azz-end definitely says late 80's Honda.....like a cross between the vfr and cbrs of that year.
I'm not a big fan of no screen, but I bet it would be a really fun bike. Don't see many of them, either.

The other Honda that shares the look is the CB-1. I have wanted to pick one of those up for a long time. Its only a 400cc bike, but it would make a great commuter.

I have one thing to say, if it looked that sexy back then... then why don't they still make it now? lol. It'd probably steal the spotlight from the beautiful CBR's. GREAT looking bike, but it wouldn't have anywhere near the power of the newer bikes man, but to each their own, I wish you luck!

At the time the dollar to yen exchange made them too expensive to sell here. They ended up being only a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the 600s. They did have less power, but also weighed less.
As I stated before it would be a great commuter, my 08 CBR1000RR takes care of my need for speed.

Here's my CB-1 with an NC30 fairing kit. Your right, it is a fun bike.
