Question Mounting a Camera

I want to post a few videos on youtube of my CBR but i am not sure how to mount a camera on my bike so that it gets the dials and the road. Just wandering if any does this and that if they can tell me how i can do it?

Thanks, Jon

normally you do not want your speedometer showing in videos as they can incriminate you n be used as evidence against you

I use a ram-mount from ram-mount.com for my camera, its bolted on at the upper tank mount n its adjustable to how/what I want it to show. I also use the mounts that came with my camera to get rear n side shots.

Alot of ppl have the tank filler mounts which work well, but I dont care for the look of it when a camera isnt mounted. The ram-mount just has a lil ball that isnt very noticeable.

You can always ziptie a huge digital camera to the chin of your helmet like me. I heard it was the cool thing to do.....LOL..

I was actually thinking about using an adjustable tank mount next time, but I really like the ram mount idea...

have you guys seen the guy on youtube that has his camera INSIDE his helmet?!?!?!?!?!?!? He said he can't see his gauges but he can see everything else by looking over the top of the camera. Just doesn't seem safe. I'd be willing to mount a cam on top of my helmet though.

bikerboy, they make one that straps to the outside of your helmet that's pretty cheap (and small). It's on ebay.
I don't know as I'd put on inside my helmet...lol.. (especially if it was obstructing my view.)
