When i first purchased my 99 f4, i thought it was the best bike in the world, minus all the little problems it had. I thought that i was only limited to a 600 because of my size. Before this i had never had a grasp or a feel for what a good quality bike was with no problems. Long story short i went looking at bikes one friday night because i had nothing else to do. I ended up getting talked into purchasing a 03 gsxr 1000. All i can say is this thing is a blast to ride! I really like the honda rrs but this was like a once and a lifetime deal for this bike. The big difference is of corse, HP, this thing reall halls buns. It was fun riding my 6 and it was good starter bike and all but this gsxr is the ish. I can throw it into corners, throttle wheelies, clutch wheelies with ease, keep up with the crowd with passengers on the back. I wont lie tho, if i had came across the same deal with a 03 1000 RR i prolly would have taken that deal instead. Soooooo many people have gsxrs here in okc its rediculous. But hey, what can i say? I just wanted a newer decent bike to ride that had more power than a 6. Another thing is that my legs started to tire and hurt on the 99 f4, i dont have the problem on the gsxr, i think thats because the pegs sit higher on it. I do have to tip toe a little bit more, but after a few weeks it all feels the same. Just wanted to share my experience with you all. Be safe.

 

Yeah man, cool! I ride a buddies 2006 gsx-r1000 fairly often and it's pretty sweet. I'm thinking about a gixxer 750 at the moment if I decide not to go to a liter. Ton of power compared to any 600.
