Just going by what I see on the road. Here in Philly, I'll see 3-5 GSXrs to 1 Honda CBR. Engine size irrelevant.

what is the correlation between owning/riding a gixxer and stupid behavior?

Its nothing at all wrong with a GSXR or it's riders. The same dumb behavior can be found on any bike. I have owned a GSXR and never did anything stupid on it. I own a Honda and don't do anything stupid on it. Most times it's just immature people saying stuff about a bike they dont own. Just like the Mustang guys I know always talk about ricers and vice verse. It's just a matter of some can't handle when everyone is not doing or riding or wearing or whatever exactly like them. Most times check the I'd of the person doing the talking and you will notice a trend.

It's because the gsxr is the "honda civic" of the bike world.... there are TONS of them and with that high number the number of squids increases, which was said in a couple of previous posts. If there were as many CBRs on the road they would say the same about em.

I guess around here were lucky. Most own honda's. Even so there are a lot of bikers that ride together and own mixed brands but are all cool with each other. It's the ones that ride by thereselves are the ones that usually act stupid. No matter what brand of bike they are riding.

I only know one person personally that rides a gixxer and he actually fits the typical squid sterotype like a shoe. Coincidence?...... maybe.

I always wanted a GSXR when I first started looking for rockets... They are a great allaround bike just like our CBR's.. Its breaks down IMO to it being a "ME TOO" bike. Alot of adolecent teens see them and say the above. And while waiting for their parents to go out and buy them this bike they get on youtube and the like and start watching stunnting and the like.. which then breeds a mindset that they can be super douche's and its cool... Alas... Every bike make has em.
