Default gixxer hate

i've been reading forums here and on 600rr.net and everytime a rider does something irresponsible or squidy people say "you might as well be a gixxer" or "no wonder, he rides a gixxer." apparently everyone that rides a gsxr is an irresponsible idiot? i do my share of stupid **** from time to time. should i have gotten a gsxr?? hell no i say.
what is the correlation between owning/riding a gixxer and stupid behavior?

Question

Just yesterday I pulled up to a red light not a mile from the house. So I know most bike riders that live around me. This 1300 Busa pulls up behind me. I notice him as he is coming up and when he stops he stops behind me. The Busa is all black, he/she is wearing a black helmet, black jacket. black gloves, jeans, and boots. I had to take a 2nd take and I start to back up, and when I get up beside him I made the comment of nice bike, and it nods. In jokingly manner I ask "wheres your shorts?" then it just nods. Light turns green and we leave. Loved to have gotten a pic so I could show yal this, trust me I have alot of pics of others on all types of bikes. being a douche...

+1. Most gsxr riders aren't the smartest riders.

Don't worry about it.

I honestly think it's just a thing where gsxr's are popular among the younger crowd and a little cheaper?

But even moreso, I think it's just because we all pick on each other.

If you go over to a Kawasaki forum... you'll find Honda bashers, too. It's really nothing personal, but more about harmless fun.
Until that one dude takes it too far....LOL..

The stupidity floating round the gixxer gene pool just seems larger. Reality is it's a large pool so the shallow end just seems huge

Do you have any idea of the actual numbers as far as sales?
Only reason I ask is because I think the CBR is a #1 all-time seller. (although I'd imagine the numbers are a little skewed because the "CBR" covers a ton of models)
