Hey guys, and gals. Just got back from the dealership, my second home, and they informed me that Honda WILL BE producing a VEEERY LIMITED 2007 1000RR Repsol Nicky Hayden Edition. They'll be hitting the showroom floors in February. They're, at least my dealership, taking down names, etc., for people that want one. Yeah, the 1st name on the list, 2nd, and so on will get the first call, but it's a 1st come 1st serve basis. If you're 1 on the list, and you're not there in 24 hours, you're f**ked! On to the next person! Good luck getting your hands on one though. As soon as it was released that they were going to release another Repsol, Nicky Hayden Edition, by the time the dealership closed, they already had like 30 names. Granted, 90% don't have credit worth ****, so those guys are already f**ked, but for you people that do have GREAT credit, and know it, and if you're truly a Honda/ Nicky fan, put your name on that list now! I have mine on there. When I get it, my 600RR will be for sale, so...Obviouslly, they're making this bike due to Nicky's bad *** taking the MotoGP crown for 2006! Aww...poor Rossi. Congrats Nicky! the U.S.A. is back in buisness!

 

Dang....new Rep 1000rr or college education for my daughter.....I'm in trouble!

 

If shes over 14 save for her, if shes under... GET THE BIKE Thats just my opinion though.

Is this going to be a Honda official release, or is your dealer just going to throw on some decals and say it's a Hayden edition?
And what's the difference between the regular repsol and the hayden repsol?

 

That's what gets me. When I first talked to the guys at the dealership, they showed me the e-mail where Honda/HRC sent them a done deal confirmation that the new Repsol was indeed going to be a Nicky Hayden Edition (because he won the MotoGP crown...that's the ONLY reason why their even making a 2007 Repsol) kind of like the "2004" RC-51 Hayden Edition, funny thing is, when we were looking at the pictures that they sent with the e-mail, there's not one spot on that bike where there's anything about Nicky...who knows, maybe Pedrosa got pissed off and said," What the f**k guys? I want a bike named after me too!". I don't know, the 2007 Repsol's a done deal, hit's showrooms in February, so maybe before the shipment to the dealerships, they'll slap on some Nicky stuff.
