Hi everyone I'm trying to do a rear wheel alignment and I'm having some issues if I use the motion pro tool on the sprocket and make the chain straight the lines on the brackets will be way off and if I match up the lines on the brackets then the tool goes way way to far to the right hand side any help please?

I just use the stamped lines. Accurate enough for me and a final check with steel rule against the frame always confirms my adjustment.
Never used a special tool for this but from your description you might need to make sure your adjusters are equally set. Work from slack to adjusted correctly.
