Certainly media over kill ... but hey , thats the way these days it seems ...
Does the words " tidal surge " ring any bells ... ?
We moved 300 mts above sea level to the farm for just that reason , as well as the center of the state , above rivers and in an area that ain't to heavily timbered either to escape bush fires as well .......
Rosebud where we lived for 16 years was only a few mts above sea level ....
Paranoia is a healthy thing in these weird ****ed up times ....
Luckily though, living near the water gets the South Easters coming in about now.

HOLY CRAP!!! Its 17F here and wth windchill its just over 1F.
That is the coldest i have ridden my bike in. haha So factor 60MPH winds and you get -09F.
I would still take my bike over a car any day though.
