Ok well i'll be moving the Sprocket sometime this week. If anyone would like to meet up this week that would be great. I'm in DC - don't mind a 200 mile ride or so each way.

Holly crap this thing moved. And it only took forever and a day. Now that is made it closer to the Atlantic lets see if we can get it land locked. Please post up pick up points that are close to its location we have 2 maybe 3 months to get it moving before it sits yet again. Thx a very patient west coastin.

First off, I'm not trying to start a flame war or anything... just explaining myself a bit. I'm not targeting anyone specifically.

In Response to KdubyaH's:
"Ill give Bear Grylls a call. We can go pick it up this weekend.
Honestly...where its at is probably the reason nobody has gotten it. You put it down in the woods off of some crappy gravel road full of pot holes. Then you mentioned deer jumped in front of you while on the crappy road. ON top of all that you have to hike 1/4 mile. At some point you had to be thinking wtf am I doing right now The only question left is, Who is willing to risk laying their bike down, getting trampled by a deer, or living out the movie Deliverance to pick up this sprocket?"

and NateDieselF4i's:
"Ok first off I would like to say knb17 is a jackass. At least thats what Isabelle told me to say. I have similar feelings after today. You would think we posted on some ATV forum or something. You should see the road - I stopped to take some pictures on the way back, i'm not sure if you can tell but it was absolutely absurd. Well I have good news! the sprocket has moved! She made the journey from damn near York PA to right outside our nation's capital. I'm going to pick a destination and try to head out this weekend. Or next."

-Let me apologize for having a sense of adventure and enjoying the outdoors.

-I know some people like to keep their bikes spotless and only ride in the best weather. I enjoy exploring areas... yes that means some dirt/gravel roads, riding in the rain and yes, I am ok with getting the bike dirty. I'm proud of the scratches/chips it's gotten from doing what it's made to do- be ridden.

-I also know some people don't like the outdoors- personally, however, I love backpacking and camping. Strapping a tent on the back of the bike and heading into the mountains- now that is a perfect ride.

-I didn't feel the road was unsafe- if I did I would have left it outside the park somewhere.

-And again, I'm sorry for making people get off their seat and walk a whole 1/4 mile into some beautiful woods. I know some people prefer to stay in cities, on perfect roads, and not be in nature. To each his own I guess. Maybe I've spent too much time in the deep woods... this park is pretty developed to me so I didn't think of it as being from Deliverance at all.

-Yes we saw deer but so what... it's not like you are racing around the park at high speeds.

So finally again, I will say I'm sorry. I'll still say that I had ALOT of fun with this... great ride for me, and a nice little hike to end the day. I thought putting it into the park added a bit to the adventure/fun of mission. Maybe I'm the only one who likes treasure hunts.

I'm glad it finally moved- again I apologize if I am the reason it sat there for so long. Maybe I should sell my F4i for a KTM on/off bike.

Hopefully it will keep moving to the west- thanks for moving it NateDieselF4i and sorry it was a pain for you to get.

Lets see some more pics from where it moves to next!

I dont mind be in the field much less walkin, but to risk another forum buddies bike by makin him ride through some bullsh!t is kinda crazy. I wouldnt make somebody ride through a grass field to pick up a sprocket. Keep in mind it is just a sprocket. The only thing that matters is that it got moved. Now lets think for about 20 seconds on where we place this thing. My pet peeve personally is "i hate lookin for ****" and my wife drives me crazy wit **** like that. Nate im in the petersburg area so if u bring it somewhere south i will pick it up and take it south to north carolina....

It is designed to be ridden, but its not a trail bike.....
