it was just my opinion, but i have seen many clips of the car craving up the track and it's awsome. allwheel drive will always perform better than rear wheel drive. once you hit a certain amount of hp it gets pritty hard to controll on launch and in and out of corners the rear will not hook up unless extensive modds are made, even that is limited. i guess that if your an expert driver like your self you would not get much from the performance computer on board but to an average joe like myself i'll take the help to make me faster. the technoligy is far superior than that of the zr1. i would like to see two comparisons 1 w/both cars on a track. 2 w/both at the 1/4 mile. you might be surprised w/the results. i respect your opinion it's what you like but it doe'nt mean tha everyone should have the same opinion. honestly i would take either and be extreemly happy....
Anyone on this site would be extremely happy...but why compare them both on the track when its obvious the zr1 has already done better(even though the ring is a bit shady with testing), the GT-R has launch control for the 1/4 mile...yet it runs 11's...a stock Z06 does that....and a stock Z06 with tires does 10's....a computer helping you drive will only make you that much worse at driving...technology on the GT-R is more like laziness...it doesn't even have a real stick...not hating on it...its a great car...but you have to realize...GM has been crushing the competition with the vette for some time now at 1/4 the price of its competition.

ZR-1 is an absolute amazing machine. I love it more and more everyday. It has already shown it can beat the GT-R on the ring completely STOCK with STREET tires. V-spec with street tires isn't going to beat the ZR-1 as said above.
