If by track you mean what i would call a drag strip (being english) then your mate should have a go, there usually standing quarter mile times, (mid 12`s u said) am i right? Well here`s my standing Quarter mile time and speed anyway for your comparison: -

Yup -- that could be it. Here they won't let bikes go against cars. Last time I went (1/8th mi) was on the Busa and I had to run by myself. That just sux.

What's so Squidly about a Katana??? I had one, but I wasn't a squid.. Well not all the time.. Sometimes u have to ride a little hard, its life as we know it. But I was geared up, not wearing flip flops and no shirt. good grief. Besides my Kat was pretty.. Hehehehe..

But a LOT of that stuff is SOooooooooooooooo true! Most people pose or act as squids until u get them on the road and say let's go. I have blown so many guys that ride bad azz bikes, but can't ride them. Sad!!! A waste of a nice machine. If u wanna ride like a cruiser, then buy a cruiser bike! Geeze... Did that sound squidly?
