It went down of course. All the things that had been posted lately, i was trying to be real easy, no wheelies, or anything. Short version, rode with a couple buddies, they turned left, i signaled, guy on my left didnt see anything apparantly, i turned, he kept going straight and took out my back tire. It wasnt a true 90 degree turn so we were all going about 35 mph or so, andi guess thankfully he managed to recover from the hit on me and didnt crash. Damage is basiclly the left side gone, clip on, stator, farings, peg, maybe swingarm. New jacket and gloves did there job, only one time using basiclly all my gear needs to be replaced. As far as I go, ver minimal damage, little rash and bruise on left knee, otherwise no worse the wear. No good pics yet sorry, was too shaken at the time to snap many, will get more tomorrow.

 

Glad you're ok. I don't like riding with others for this very reason.

i went out for a short 30 minute first real ride of the season yesterday and just rode for a few miles around my place in downtown chicago....i am beginning to think i got lucky nothing happened...seems like there is a damn omen going on in this board...PLEASE...everyone be safe...

i see so many stupid kids trying to TEXT MESSAGE and drive..and they swerve into my lane all the time..im in my car or truck..and when im in my truck i floor it and try to hit them..give em a little scare..2 teenage girls were just in an accident here..the driver was texting and pullled out in front of a truck and killed the passenger..driver is very messed up, hope the text was important..im usually hesitent to answer my phone while driving..i
