xenon hid blue

Default xenon hid blue

any body rock any of these light i have a budy who had super white that look blue but mines are true blue and i love the look so i dont know the diff between the kits and what i bought that are just bulbs

118 the bluer the bulb, the lower the light output (or at least the visible light) at least in HIDspeak. They say 3500K are the best, mine ar 6000k, yours are probably 8500k. If you search on this subject, there were a bunch of very goost posts on this subject a few months back.

Cause those kits are true HID.

Not *a little brighter*, more like a LOT brighter. I don't care what kind of bulbs you buy they are not going to perform like HID.

So if HID is so bright, how come it isn't blinding to other motorists? The only thing I can think of is the way the light is refracted in the housing. Also, since they're brighter than halogens, shouldn't they use a special housing and not just the factory light bucket? I'm not saying this just because of the high temperatures, but also because of the optical characteristics of a high output light source.

HID is MUCH brighter but it has to be aimed properly. If you headlights are aimed too high, you will blind other people. Trust me, I've done it.

True, I aimed the bright side down as well and run both all the time during the day.
