So I've been troubleshooting just why the **** a god damned brand new core 2 duo build isn't ****ing working for the last 6 hours and come to find out that MSI is shipping their ****ing boards with 1.0 bios when they arent fully supportive of the modern cpu's till bios version 1.1 and this thing will never ****ing boot unless i find an older 775 cpu to ****ing boot with so i can upgrade the ****ing bios to 1.1 and give this piece of ****ing **** to the person it was intended for. I already had him buy a new 100 dollar ****ing power supply because I figured it didnt have enough juice. **** I HATE COMPUTERS!!!!

 

WOW, I wish I knew what the hell you just said...I really do. I feel ya though bro, computers are a pain in the a$$ sometimes. Good luck with that.

My HP had obsolete bio, that had been reprogramed. Worked for a while then fried. Poped a new one in, and walla

Maybe you can flash it and reproam it to a 1.1?? or are they physically differnt

 

I cant flash it unless i have a cpu in it that works.

 

may have one, will check and see what socket it is.
