wrecked another time
no i wrecked last year on my f4i when a girl ran a redlight. first one on this bike.
so if i lift the front end up and loosen the tree the forks with twist back to where they started? how do i get the wieght off the forks?
also if i would have used the back break would it have kept the back end down?

Maybe you just got one of those black clouds around you? I had a buddy like that, pretty solid, safe rider but he got hit by two drunk drivers in a month and so on......he gave up riding for a few years and now rides a goldwing.....anyways, sounds like you hit a rough patch, maybe you need to re-evaluate your riding practices and see what might or might not affect your situation. I'm not calling you out to say you did anything wrong, but your ratio needs to at least be addressed. I don't know the full scoop on your crash so I wont side-line quarterback coach your deal or anything. As for using the rear brake, load the front suspension and a progressive squeeze until the bike stops, using the rear brake, light and lighter, as you load the front and brake, less weight is on the rear andeasier to lock up from weight transfer. I practice emergency stops from any speed I am willing to ride at, from 10 to 100, and for me, at most, the rear brake is a feathered touch, just my .02 of course, not preaching or anything, each his own and all.
