Maybe you should think about hanging it up for a few years.
I gotta agree, didn't you recently post about 'your longest wheelie ever' and with your first crash not having your helmet even buckled? Didn't your Parents want to give you $5Gs to stop riding? If your Father doesn't take a sledge-hammer to your bike after this, I will be baffled, if you were my kid, that bike would be a pile of scrap by now.

But if you are gonna ride, I would like to know how to take out a life insurance policy on you with me as the beneficiary. I will pay all the premiums. Please PM me all your vital information so I can get the ball rolling. At the rate you are going, I believe this to be a wise investment, anybody else want in?

edit: JD, please don't ride anymore until we get the policy in place, thanks.

JD im sure this all sounds harsh and like we're being ********, but you have to look at whats been happening to you lately. as fish fryer and others have said, you've had some close calls lately and been having some "unsafe, illegal" fun. we're a tight community on here.....a family. no one wants to read another "RIP" thread, cheif. nobody is belittling you or anything like that, your cbrforum family is looking out for you. it honestly sounds like right now in your life....you need to hang that key up, even if only until next summer. give that shoulder a rest, get through the surgeries and let it heal 1 0 0 % !!!!!!!!!! once you feel you're back to normal, take the bike out for a nice, chill cruise to get to know her again , take it easy and enjoy the ride.

everybody is just looking out for their cbrforum brother. think about it, JD.

be safe, brother.

hey i for sure want in on that policy. Yea i think you need little more time to how dangerous it is riding and already having a few close calls you need to stay in your limits and not be out thier pushing them on the streets at 17. you sould still be getting used to your bike i am 21 and had my bike for almost a year and been riding for like too and i still take it easy getting as much experance as i can.

Just think of this, don't go buying a new bike so you have the want to ride it...wait and save up so when your shoulder is healed up you can buy a nicer one. Just a thought but please take care of yourself.
