well i just recently broke up with my girlfriend and i have a week in august off from work. i had already planed on going to myrtle beach but now my ideas are changing a lil. i kinda want to go to the dragon. but i wanted to know from the ppl who have gone if it worth the ride and time. i live about 30 miles from detroit, michigan. so im sure it a decent little strecht. and my other question was is there some okay hotels and downtown life around there? and is it like u get once around the turns and your done or do u have to pay again. i just dont wanna drive all the way down there and be bored after a day.(vacations dont come often). and it would all have to be done on my bike. lemme kno

I think you should go! I have never been there, but I can imagine that it is great from what others have said. Besides, a trip like that gives you lots of time to think and prioritize things in your life. I'm sorry about your breakup, but maybe some time alone to gather your thoughts would be beneficial? I'm sure that you can find lots of neat little hotels to stay at that aren't going to break the bank. Cops? Nah, there aren't any cops out there! LOL! Seriously, I know somewhere on one of the websites, (tailofthedragon.com) I think.... it lists the "speed traps" to be cautious of. Just do some homework and you'll find more information than you can headshake at. [&:]

WOW! That place looks AWESOME! Well, except for all the stupid trucks trying to kill all the bikers! I think they should just ban semi's from there!! I'm going to try to get a buddy to take a trip with me there this september I think. =) Anyone have any idea how long of a trip it would be from Milwaukee WI?
