Yeah...I know it sounds cheesy but just trying to cheer with positive thinking. I too had a very bad day.....just spent few hundred buck replacing my brakes. My girl was driving around in our van with the parking brake lock. When she came home, I'm like what's that smell??? I'm still trying to find a positive side of it, but +1 it's horse chit some times....life goes on.

 

Reason for such a big amount on the brakes because when van drive around with the parking brakes locked, the caliper heats up then the pin/piston got seized....not just replaced pads but also rebuilt caliper too. Chit....

 

sounds like my luck with brakes estate. still trhyin to get the hub bearing and steering knuckle off of my dakota ratchet count is up to 2 half inch ratchets a 3/8 inch ratchet and a 1 inch breaker bar all broken trying to fix this problem. i dont think i will ever buy another dodge. this was my first and last
