Hang in there JD, just try to remember that if you take some again, your going to have to start all over again. You know what you need to do, just hang in there and gut it out the best you can.

jd have you ever worked out? the next day or so the pain is pretty bad but you enjoy the pain every time you move because you know its towards something positive. you know how you run around telling everyone how sore you are from working out. well you need to do the same thing now! be proud that your kicking the habit, let everyone know. plus when you go around telling people your sore from working out they expect to see results and cheer you on which gets you to the next work out session.

I didn't mean it like that! He said the pain may keep him awake, and if I can't sleep, I drink like half a bottle of nyquil. I haven't gotten hooked, but then again I rarely do that. Don't get the wrong idea, I feel for the guy, and I hope he gets better.

+1 to what everyone is saying. If you truly cant hack the withdrawals and will continue using whatever pills you are on, talk to your doctor about getting on Subuxone. This will help you get through the withdrawal process and you can detox yourself within a 2 week - 1 month time frame with little to no withdrawal symptoms. However, once you stop the Subuxone, you will still experience slight discomfort but not as bad as what youre going through now. Good luck and just remember, you can do it - theres been people a lot worse off than you who have kicked drugs a lot harder than what you're probably taking. You can do it mayn.

I'm sure you can do it, dude. Just lay down with the tv on, try to relax, and keep a bucket nearby for puke. If you're lucky you'll fall asleep.
