Funny, I just got a new computer after 8 years (with upgrades). Still using XP, get told by everyone, including the place I bought my computer, that Vista ain't worth the grief. New Windows O/S coming out next year?

Two Macs (iBook for me, and a mac mini for the girlfriend), a AMD64 desktop running Gentoo at home, and a IBM ThinkPad T42p running RHEL5 (for work), I sometimes pop in a HDD with XP in it when I need to. Will probably get a MacBook Pro when I finish my MS.

Crap, otta bvll**** compare to any free distro of *nix. Anything beats winbloze as a server. SQL is pure grade A poop. And Vista is the best thing M$ has put out since Office.

I lik.e the wife's Vista Laptop. people just lik.e to bitch about change, just lik.e when XP came out, people bitched cause it was a "memory hog" just lik.e Vista. It is actually a decent OS.
