i do that all the time 
take off on rides while im still on the clock. i work as a personal assistant and when im out runnign errands i take the long ways around and if anyone gives me **** i say i was stuck in traffic and no one evers complains

I guess it depends on what your job is. If your being gone caused any children or puppies to die, I would fire your ***. If some under-sexed housewife couldn't buy a vibrator, I would probably not care! What is it that you do to make a wage?

You know what man? People take xtra long lunch breaks all the time... just blame it on traffic. No biggie. if it happens every day, guess what sooner or later you'll hear about it then the next time you do it ... pink slip!

i know i end up taking about an hour and a half everyday for lunch since i go home. ****, i even bought my bike on my lunch break and just called them and said, ill be back later, buying bike now. haha, i got back at like 3:30!
