My cousin has a Wii and recently had a power outage at his house
Ever since, it won't cut on. It's on a power strip/surge protector along with his VCR, TV and so on. All of the other items on the strip work perfectly. Has anyone else ran into a problem like this? Any ideas? Tomorrow we're going to take it to the local game stop to see if they can hook it up in place of their demo unit to see if the power cord may have went bad

we tried that, but there is a disk in it
obviously didn't work out

we'll call nintendo on it tomorrow too if we don't find a solution

 

hmmm.. ive had that same prob a couple years back with my ps2 and an xbox actually.. unfortunetly they both had to go in the garbage. hopefully you have better luck.

 

I had that same issue with my Wii and I just unplugged the AC from the outlet and from the wii itself for 45min to 1 hour and then plugged it back in and it worked again fine... Maybe that will work and if that was in the link that rangerscott posted then oopsies I didn't read it
