Why do people hate on FORD?
So I’m curious as to why people always talk bad about Ford? I have owned nothing but Fords in my life except for a only Saturn car, and two Honda 954s. They ( Fords) have always treated me good, from the 5 different mustangs I have had, to my old ranger and bronco to now a F150. I simply Love my Fords. Now I try not to talk trash about my mopar and chevy friends, but I cant help it if my sports cars are just faster and they are always working on their stuff. Not saying I have the fastest street car or anything because you never can be the “fastest” although you can die trying. Overall I just felt as if I had to speak up for my Ford brethren, as well as my fords being good to me.
Sincerely,
A Ford lover and can of worm opener =),

I respect Ford because they fared better than GM through the entire economic crash.
My F350 (knock on wood) has been bullet proof through 100k miles with the exception of a rear caliper getting stuck last week and desitintegrating a brake pad, and it can pull a house off the foundation.
People are going to knock whatever they don't like or have. People knock on Japanese cars for not being made in America, not realizing that the Camry was the car last year that had the highest percentage of work and parts coming from America than ANY other car. I wouldn't spend much time worrying about it.
As far as the Chevy vs. Ford thing - I have never really liked mustangs except for the 5.0 liter Fox body cars, and NOONE can deny that the best bang for the buck car is the Vette. It's all just what you like so don't sweat it, enjoy what YOU like.
If I was following what people "respected" I sure as hell wouldn't be hanging on to my RX7, but I like it and want to have it so the hell with everyone else.

Simple, because they suck! ;P
I back this because everytime I had to work on one of my Fords, I always find myself noticing the diffrence in engineering from a GM ... and normally it's not in a helping way. Not saying they don't make decent products ... just not the ones I've had to work with LOL ('94 exploder and '94 Escort). I really enjoyed the escort while it lasted...

super doodie
well , its like this, i currently own a 79 bronco 4x4, 67 cougar, 67 f100 , 67galaxie 500 and i love my old schoolers, but i always wanted a big F550 4x4 crew cab for my steel erecting, and in 04 i picked up a brand new one , ordered it the way i wanted, well within three weeks the tranny pooped, got it back then the turbo failed, got it back and the tranny pooped again, got it back two weeks later the intercooler blew its sides off !!?? upon returning it , the service manager handed me the keys and i said keep it and drive it around a bit before i take it bake(by now im pissed) he dove it the next day and the tranny took its final poop, and it happened while the manager was driving it..LOL. finally they agreed to lemon it...i went and bought another chevy...Moral is..i love my old fords, but you can keep the new ones...my chevy hasnt missed a beat in 3 years;-)...
